About the Role

Position: Marketing Specialist (Cold Calling & Consultancy Placement)
Location: Remote/On-site/Hybrid
Position Type: Full-time/Contract

Requirements

  1. Cold Calling & Lead Generation:

    • Proactively reach out to potential clients (businesses, HR teams, L&D departments) via phone, email, and LinkedIn to promote training programs and consultancy placement services.

    • Qualify leads and schedule consultations/demos for the sales team.

  2. Consultancy & Training Expertise:

    • Develop a deep understanding of our training modules (e.g., leadership development, technical upskilling) and consultancy placement process.

    • Articulate the value proposition of our services to prospects by aligning their needs with our solutions.

  3. Client Relationship Building:

    • Nurture relationships with decision-makers in target industries (e.g., IT, healthcare, finance).

    • Collaborate with the consultancy team to ensure client requirements are met during candidate placements.

  4. Market Research:

    • Identify industries/businesses with high demand for training or talent placement.

    • Track competitor offerings and market trends in consultancy and corporate training.

  5. CRM & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of outreach, leads, and conversions in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

    • Analyze campaign performance and refine strategies to improve conversion rates.

  6. Content Collaboration:

    • Work with the marketing team to create targeted messaging for email campaigns, social media, and sales collateral.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or sales development (B2B preferred).

  • Strong understanding of consultancy placement processes and/or corporate training environments.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts (e.g., training curriculums, talent matching).

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales automation tools.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Background in marketing, HR, talent acquisition, or L&D is a plus.

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of staffing/consultancy industry workflows.

  • Experience selling training programs or SaaS platforms.

  • Basic understanding of LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.

  • Ability to translate client pain points into actionable solutions (e.g., "We need upskilled IT consultants" → tailored training + placement).
